After a long early labor, this strong Mama has fast active labor and the doctor barely made it for the birth! Welcome to the world, sweet baby B!
One of my closest friends had a beautiful family-centered cesarean with Dr Livingston at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Bedford. It was wonderful to be there! Everyone was so respectful and kind. Aspects of the birth included Mama watching her baby be born, slow delivery of baby, delayed cord clamping, immediate and prolonged skin-to-skin in the OR, breastfeeding in the OR, very short Mama/Baby separation after birth. Welcome to the world, Baby Malachi!

She had to birth a month early due to medical circumstances, and she was a real trooper! It was fun how involved her family (husband, mom, dad, sister) was in the labor as well. Baby was a good size and is doing well. Welcome to the world, sweet baby girl! |
