Why did you choose Young Living?
I have tried about five different brands of essential oils, some from cheaper brands, some from more brands with prices similar to YL. I used them for about four years. I switched over to using Young Living oils mainly based on the fact that I found them the most effective out of the oils I tried, and i felt their didn’t have the chemical undertones to it many other brands had. Then after I started using them (and greatly benefited from them), I researched and liked what I read about how carefully they monitored the production of oils and how they ensure the safety and effectiveness of their products. They owns their own farms, weed control is done by hand, they are first distillation oils only, they are rigorously tested by third party testing, all pest control is achieved with essential oils, and they have over two decades of experience. I feel 100% comfortable ingesting them, breathing them, and topically applying them. And yall, simply, they work. I’m seen it in my family and in others.
How to get started with using Young Living Essential Oils
You can purchase the oils from youngliving.com either as a retail customer or as a Wholesale Member/Distributor. The Wholesale Member is by FAR the best option! What it means is that you get 24% off retail price! You also have the option (never obligation) of sharing the oils with your friends and family in order to earn commissions and get free oils.
Is there a minimum monthly order?
No, the only minimum purchase requirement to remain a Wholesale Member and get 24% off retail prices is just 50PV (around $50) per YEAR. With all the awesome oils/products, fulfilling this is very easy.
Do I have to sell the oils? I don’t want to make it into a business. There is NO obligation to sell any oils, ever. If you end up wanting to sell, you can start selling anytime.
What if I want to earn commission or simply earn reward points to get free products?
Then you will want to sign up for the Essential Rewards program. Essential Rewards is a rewards program you can opt into to start earning money back to help pay for your oils.
So what do I do to become a Wholesale Member?
You will need to get started with a Premium Starter Kit. The Premium Starter Kit was my first introduction to Young Living and I am so glad it was! It is honestly the best “bang for your buck” as it includes the 10 Everyday Oils, AND a bottle of Stress Away (through Nov 15th then will be replaced by Melaleuca Alternifolia), PLUS a roller top insert to turn any of your oils into a roller for easy application, AND the Home Diffuser (it has two settings and works really well), PLUS some samples of oils and supplements! It’s over $300 worth of product for only $150! And there are literally well over 100 ways to use the oils in this kit: from health/wellness to families to babies to allergy-relievers to sleep enhancers to wound-”healers”!
I know some of you have thought about getting the oils one by one, and you are definitely free to do so through me if you’d like, BUT I think saving up to get the Premium Kit is SO worth it. I saved for three months to buy the kit and I’m very happy with it. It paid for itself within literally the first week when my entire family but me got the flu and were able to recover quickly and naturally!

#1: Leave it set on “Wholesale Member”.
#2. Make sure my member number 2038291 is in the Sponsor ID and Enroller ID boxes.
#3. Fill out your name, billing address, shipping address, and contact information. (The only reason you are asked to list your social security number is for tax purposes. If you make over $600/year selling Young Living products, you will receive a 1099 form in the mail, as is required by law. Young Living will never share this info with anyone.)
#4: Choose the Premium Start Kit. There are several kits to choose from, but if you want the one with the diffuser, make sure and choose that one! Not all the starter kits have diffusers.
#5: You have the option to choose Essential Rewards (ER) at this time. Buying one of the ER kits is NOT a requirement to sign up as a Wholesale Member! ER is a program where you can earn free credits for any YL product, get reduced shipping, and start earning commission. If you’d rather not start the program at that time, just choose “No, thank you”. You can enroll in ER any time and you don’t even have to choose one of the ER kits- you can choose any kind of oils/products/supplements/cleaners etc you want each month and you can change that from month to month.
